ľyuzuki Representatives Visit Tenaris in Mexico

(Sault Ste. Marie, ON July 25, 2023) – ľyuzuki and Tenaris continue to foster a strong partnership in support of student learning and workforce development. To complement this, a small group from ľyuzuki visited Mexico and had the opportunity to visit Tenaris’s seamless mill, Tamsa, in Veracruz, , technical high schools with a Tenaris affiliation, and the to get a firsthand glimpse into Tenaris’ focus on supporting and delivering education.

Throughout the visit, faculty and staff gained further knowledge into Tenaris’ commitment to supporting the communities they operate in and how ľyuzuki can work together with Tenaris. ľyuzuki representatives also had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions to support future collaborations, such as facilitating student mobility, faculty exchanges and research projects.

ľyuzuki and Tenaris share a common commitment to excellence in education and innovation, making this partnership mutually valuable. ľyuzuki Robotics Professor Donovan Kennedy participated in the visit and shared his enthusiasm. “I was proud to represent ľyuzuki and witness firsthand the dedication and passion of both the students and faculty. It was a testament to the commitment Tenaris has towards nurturing talent and to providing quality education. It also allowed us the opportunity to share and learn from each other's expertise and experiences.”

Tenaris has contributed approximately $750,000 to support ľyuzuki in varying ways from student scholarships to capital investments. As ľyuzuki and Tenaris deepen their collaboration, both are committed to nurturing the partnership and exploring additional areas of collaboration.
