"Where We Gather"
Built in 1993, Enji Maawnjiding, the "Where We Gather" Student Centre is a safe and welcoming gathering place for First Nation, Métis, and Inuit students to connect, seek support, and engage in social and cultural activities. It supports shared learning, cultural exchange, and mutual support by hosting events throughout the year. The Centre offers workshops to foster community, promote a good life, and encourage lifelong friendships.
Located in G Wing, it features a kitchen, classrooms, and faculty offices, creating a welcoming environment. It exemplifies the achievements of the Indigenous Education Council and èÖľyuzuki’s commitment to alternative educational strategies that address the diverse needs of Indigenous students. It allows us to promote and celebrate Indigenous culture within the College community.
